Personal Training starts with the initial consultation; this is key to a successful exercise and nutrition programme. Prior to the first meeting you will be asked to complete a health and fitness questionnaire, any queries during completion can be discussed during the first meeting.
There is no charge for this initial meeting which normally takes 60 minutes.
During the initial consultation we will determine your current fitness levels and medical history. Dependent on your current medical history we may need to consult your GP prior to starting any exercise programme.
We will then explore short and long term fitness goals and discuss appropriate exercise programme. We will also take initial measurements, which will include pulse rate, blood pressure, flexibility assessment, lung function and body composition. We may decide to complete some fitness tests. These are not diagnostic but provide baseline figures for future measurements and can act as a motivational tool as we further tailor your programme to meet individual workout needs.
